Commissioned by Maison Alaïa for the Summer–Fall 25 collection by Pieter Mulier, this new body of work by Aurore de La Morinerie offers a poetic interpretation of movement and form. Working with ink and water on paper, she translates the spirit of the garments into a visual language of fluid gestures and luminous contrasts. Each stroke, distilled into shadow and light, evokes the essential qualities of Alaïa: purity, grace, and timeless elegance. With her signature restraint and sensibility, Aurore reveals the silhouette not through detail, but through presence—capturing what moves, what lingers, and what remains.
